When You Get Right Down to It...

"April,

Much good here, but it doesn't address the assignment, which is to analyze documents or artifacts critically. The Adams letters are a good choice but you must focus on them. How do John Adams or Abigail Adams differ in their views in women? Does John Adams show a different [side?] to his male friends than he did to Abigail Adams? In what ways? Why? Just not close enough to the material--the course or events in American (rather than England)."

Thanks for your input, Professor Roth. It's very much appreciated. But you know, when you get right down to it, all of that literary-speak translates into this:

"April,

This is the worst piece of historical analysis I have ever laid eyes on. Trash. Complete and utter bullshit. You didn't even do the reading, did you? Well... DID YOU? Ha! I thought not. How dare you sit in my class under the guise of an honors student? Any self-respecting person would at least try to write a decent paper for such an elevated class. You, however, turned in five pages of mindless drivel. You didn't even bother to finish half the sentences in your paragraphs. And it was printed out in BLUE INK no less. Blue! Way to go, genius. Next time you want to wave your Revolutionary feminist crap around my nose, make sure it's at least legible. Maybe then I'll find the patience needed to sit down and read your worthless pile of history interpretation.

Nyah, nyah!
