The Eyes Have It

If I weren't so embarrassed, I'd post pictures of the horrendous (and funny) appearance of my right eyebrow.

Last Monday, I bought a do-it-yourself eyebrow waxing kit, made by those faboulous nail polish people at Sally Hansen. I guess I figured that buying the kit at Meijer would save me an extra $10-15 and half an hour waiting for someone to heat up a vat of congealed animal fat to slather across my forehead. Little did I know that $4 box of microwave wax was going to do more harm than good...

I'll save you the details of the messy parts, but nearly a week later, I have a nice sized scar and two huge chunks of hair missing from both corners of my eyes. I look like I was one of the extras in "Fight Club." Danielle tried to make me feel better by telling me it was cool when some people had parts of their eyebrows missing. I guess I'll take that into consideration the next time I go to apply for a position at Gangbangers R Us. Luckily, I managed to stock up on eyebrow pencils to fill in the holes until the hair grows back (or if it ever grows back). For the past week, I've been obsessively staring into my mirror, poking at the space of the scar and checking to see if any of the little bits of hair are still hanging in there. I don't want to have to be dependent on eyebrow pencils for life!

In more news, Continuum and FutureSex/LoveSounds are released on Tuesday! I'm gonna get my John and Justin threesome on before Danielle and I meet Tia to see Chris Brown that night. Woot!
