I Really Thought I Knew Better

So the presentation didn't go all that badly... It didn't go all that well, either, but at least it wasn't terrible. The puppet show didn't go over so well, which I expected. After all, you can't expect a room of twenty-somethings to be entertained by a Mr. Rogers spoof. It just ain't gonna work. One of the guys in the class commented that he thought the whole thing was "Dumb, and didn't make much sense."

I completely agree.

Anyways, Professor Ha didn't seem too phased (or pleased), so I wasn't sure if we had met her expectations or not. The woman basically just throws an assignment at you without bothering to explain in detail what she wants--what kind of professor is that? So if she ends up docking loads of points from my grade, I'm going to have a grand-old time demanding to know how she expects us to produce something credible (in less than a week, mind you), without actually knowing what she wants. Its like constantly trying to please Ivana Trump--it isn't going to get you anywhere.

I ate dinner at the North Commons with Alina tonight, which was great. I never thought I'd be so excited to see someone in my life. I missed her so much--it was probably the worst part about living at home this year. I don't have the chance to wake up every morning and laugh at the stupid things our other roomates did or didn't do (namely, Jennifer). She came back from Mexico at the last minute, deciding that she wasn't going to be able to do any work down there if she was partying and clubbing every night. Knowing how studious and psychotic about school Alina is, it's a good choice. Besides, it gives me the chance to see one of my best friends on a daily basis, so I don't really lose out on that one.

In other news, I've grown a zit right above my eyebrow. We won't go any further.

Today's Soundtrack: This is for Zelda, who came up with the idea of the ideal John Mayer CD. Mine would have "No Such Thing," "Victoria," "Split Screen Sadness," "Only Heart," "Why Georgia," "Quiet," "City Love," "St Patrick's Day," "Neon," "Daughters," "Something's Missing," and "Comfortable." I think that's it... There's probably about three or four other songs I've forgotten.

Best Part of the Day: Today in the library, I dreamed I was having a collassal orgasm while in the company of John Mayer. Tell me those aren't bad thoughts to be having while supposedly studying for statistics.
