Making It Up As I Go Along

Even though I'm stressed out from midterms, term papers, and the fact that I am steadily going broke; I'm actually more excited that I'm going to be seeing Mo' Rocca tomorrow night!

Ahhhh!

For some reason, the school finally found someone halfway decent to bring to entertain us. Most of the people who come for visits are people I've either never heard of, or someone I have no interest in whatsoever. Anyways, Marc and I are "Daily Show" fanatics, and when Mo' got his own commentary stint on VH1's "I Love the 80s" series, you can bet we were watching. Maureen is going to bring her little sister, Colleen (Who is extremely strange, so we'll see just how everything is going to play out), and I invited Marc this afternoon.

I'm hoping that the whole thing won't turn out to be a bust--I went to see Dennis Miller at the Schott last year and I hated it. I thought that being some big-shot comic, he'd keep me laughing, but all he really did was keep me pissed about the entire Bush/War with Iraq situation. The ten thousand other people who were sitting in the arena weren't too impressed, either. He got a lot of booing, and I would've fallen asleep if Maureen hadn't been there to keep me awake. But hey, the whole thing was free, so I can't really complain. I really wouldn't be quite as ready to go see Mo' if the show wasn't already paid for by the University. I'm such a cheap skate.

Today's Soundtrack: "Gimme Some More," Busta Rhymes

Best Part of the Day: Hearing Professor Ha tell me that my crap-ass paper was worth an A-. How's that for procrastination?
