Today's Post
I know this really isn't anything new or spectacular, but this particular piece of spam put a smile on my face. Aside from the usual promises of increased girth and endurance for penises and the reduced fears of pre-mature ejaculation, my randy little message closed with the following sentiments:
"Work expands so as to fill the time available as delicate as a baby's eye lashes."
I don't know what that's supposed to mean, but either the random gizmo/person who generates these messages is (horribly) poetic, or God is very ironic.
Maybe it's both.
I other (fanatical) news, can I just say that I was really disappointed by John Mayer's performance on The Today Show yesterday morning? He started off with "No Such Thing," which--although about six or seven years old--is fine with me, it's the first single I heard and the first one I ever loved. But then Matt Lauer went to a commercial break while John continued playing, and the television audience to missed "Vultures," and the majority of "Daughters." Seriously though, John, "Daughters?" Why are we still playing this? You complain about how you never liked the song in the first place, and how it pigeonholed you into the soft-rock-James-Taylor genre, and yet you played it anyway! You might as well have just played "Wonderland" and slit my throat already. Yeah, yeah, we know you won your Grammys for both of those songs, but let's move on the the new stuff from the latest CD, okay? Got that? Good.
::sigh::
I can't wait until Continuum is released. The whole album's been available for preview online, but I've kept myself from listening to it just so I can hear the whole thing at once for the first time when I actually buy it. [Insert lame obsessive fan girl shriek here].
Yeah, I know. I need a life.
