A Walk to Remember

Question: Is walking home with Mark now going to be a required thing every afternoon? I certainly hope not. I mean, he's nice and all... But there's that "ehhh" factor about him that keeps me from enjoying his company. Really, if I cared that much about him, I wouldn't have gone all last quarter without knowing his name (I just learned it last Friday). I've been lucky so far, ducking into the Journalism building, waltzing into the library while walking with Betsy... But I don't know how much longer I can keep this up.

Last night I resolved to overcome the Teddy Ruxpin phobia by doing a little online investigating. It turns out that there's still a bunch of TR die-hards out there who have dedicated plenty of sites to the robotic mammal. Yes, yes, I was afraid. Very afraid. There were more Teddy Ruxpin images in front of me than I could count, and it was a little unnerving.

In CIS this morning, I described my fears to Alina, who jumped up and down with excitement after she realized what I was talking about.

"You mean that robot bear thing?!" She beamed. "I used to have all of the characters from the TV show and everything!"

Sigh. Alina is not normal. This Teddy Ruxpin thing is definitely not a good influence on children.

Today's Soundtrack: "Why, Georgia," John Mayer

Best Part of the Day: Is it me, or is it finally getting warmer? Oh yeah, Adison is in my CIS class. Chalk that up to the "Gee-I-never-knew-you-existed-but-now-I-see-you-everywhere" phenomenon. Crazy stuff like that drives me... Well, crazy.
