I've Got the Willies; Who's Got the Jimmies?

Huzzah! I've now lost two pounds! Ooh! Make that a double huzzah! With a side of fries on side, please!

Oh, I never thought I'd be so happy. Or that I'd be dying to have a bite of French fries from McDonald's. But still, the diet is working (obviously), so there's no sense in my going backwards and ruining the whole thing. If I can just keep this up, I'll end up making goal for the entire summer.

I really did not want to get out of bed this morning. I had to be at work by 9:45, but I sat in my bed, staring at the ceiling until about 9:00. I'm just so sick of the same old same old thing I do everyday. I'm really starting to wish I'd kept my promise to myself and bought those train tickets to Canada. I really need some time to myself, and I think it'd be kind of cool to ride all the way up to Montreal by myself. 'Sides, no one else wants to go, and anyone who did want to go with me either doesn't have the money, or can't speak French. It's a no-win situation.

C'est la vie.

Mmmm... It says here that Madonna is now going to be the new Gap spokeswoman. Is it me, or does that just seem really ironic? Madonna just seems to be above all of that stuff, why in the world would she want to walk around, peddling stretch khakis and denim jackets for twenty year olds? I can just see the commericals and ads now: "I might be a Material Girl, but I can't get enough of these new cotton stretch capris! They're only $29.99 at your nearest Gap store!"

Are we supposed to take that seriously?

Anyway, I saw her newest music video, "Hollywood" two weeks ago, and it kinda flipped me out. It's like watching a neurotic sexaholic run around in bad makeup, if you ask me. Frightening. If this is where Madonna's going, I don't think I'm going to tag along for the ride. Not even in my new Gap shorts.
